Location :  Woolworths in Tygervalley Shopping Mall

These shoots are done while the store is in operation, therefore I can’t bring in any external lighting sources and have to make do with the ambient light and my on camera-flash. Due to the multiple light sources (eg. fluorescent, tungsten, flash, sodium and led), colour balancing is a nightmare and I have to find the best compromise to make the images look close to ‘normal’. Another challenge on these shoots is for everyone involved to be constantly aware of customers, keep out their way and not interfere with the normal operations within the store.
